Video Games

I just want to open this up so that people can talk about their favorite games, consoles, characters, etc.


I'll start off by asking what people's favorite consoles are?

Nintendo WII
PS3
XBOX360

And why.

Wii, because Nintendo has a good reputtion. It may be below other consoles right now, but the Wii always thinks of real ways to rise to the top.
PS3, because its a blu-ray player as well. Game quality is also pretty good. Good games too. ex. Lord of the Rings, Naruto

Xbox360=No. Only good thing about this console is Halo. Everything else is better off on the PS3.

Wii (Have it)
It is a good one although I myself think that it shouldn't be counted as one of those big gaming consoles, because it's games have such a different play style, it is innovative for it's time, and almost anyone who has a PS3 or XBOX360 likely has one, it's not really a big gamer's console, but it is a real individual.

PS3 (Don't Have it)
It is a decent gaming console although to be honest, I've only played a few times, and the extras make it worth it's immense price, but I just haven't played enough of it to have a good opinion on it.

XBOX360 (Have it)
It is a good gaming console, it's online is what you'd expect for online gaming, the games themselves are really similar to the PS3 counterparts. It doesn't matter to me which console it is on, as long as the game is good. Mine has been a reliable one with 0 problems so far, no overheating, nor RROD, and no internet issues that aren't of my own connection. Also I prefer XBOX controllers to PS3 ones.

ps3. It's like the ultimate game console

xbox. its like the ps3 but worse and with halo.

wii. It only plays for casual gamers and they suck.

And to add on, what are your favorite games per console?:

WII: SSBB (Duh)
PS3: COD 6
XBOX360: Halo 3

Super smash bros brawl, because it's a decent party game that is fun also to play on your own to get through campaigns and trials, It has a wide variety of characters and it is satisfying to see Nintendo characters whoop each other's butts

Call of duty 6 because it is one of the 3 or so games that I've played on it, that I haven't already played on another console, it just seems better on PS3 because it's a foreign game and foreign console for me.

Halo 3 because it has good graphics, great game play, good story, and well working multilayer possibilities, forge mode is also one of the most creative game types I've seen to date. The characters are also immersive because Master Chief doesn't really have a face, so people can attach themselves to the character easily with the first person view.

Wii: Anything that has Mario and Link is bound to be a decent game.

PS3: Havent played it enough. However, I've played the Gundam demo and the Lord of the Rings demo and they're really great games.

Xbox: Halo. The only Xbox game I played and probably the only game in the collection I would enjoy.

Wii: CoD 3
PS3: All of them
Xbox: All of them

I'm actually lying but I just have a lot and I'm too lazy to list them.
